Art Beat specialises in working in health, social justice, community building and education contexts, based on the premise that everyone has the capacity to successfully participate in, and benefit from, music making.

Through 12 years of experience, and the knowledge gained through completing her PhD in musical participation, Jane has worked hard to develop the concept of social musicality: that music is an innate human behaviour, as much as it is something to be listened to.
